Out-of-Scope Classification Plan Documentation

Revised out-of-scope pay bands (2015) and (2016) for health care employees were established based on a market review completed in 2010 and subsequently updated for 2011/2012. Standardized terms and conditions of work will be implemented across the province.

Documentation Relating to the OOS Classification Plan:

The revised (2017) Terms and Conditions for Out-of-Scope Employees includes:

  • Change to The Saskatchewan Employment Act from The Labour Standards Act
  • Change to the Joint Health Human Resources Committee from the Provincial Workforce Planning Committee
  • Maternity Leave - reduce the Employment Insurance waiting period to one week from two weeks
  • Travel Allowance - added to the Terms and Conditions
