The SAHO Bargaining Committee and the Saskatchewan Government and General Employees’ Union Local 3024 (SGEU) met in Saskatoon on November 3, 4, and 5, 2025, to continue collective bargaining negotiations.

During this session, the committees reached agreement on several items, including provisions related to the Grievance Procedure and Job Share language. These agreements mark continued progress and reflect the shared commitment of both parties to advancing negotiations in a constructive and solution-oriented manner that supports the employees, the Employer and the patients we serve. 

Productive discussions continued on outstanding items under Article 9 – Discipline, Dismissal and Resignation, as well as additional discussions on Article 7 – Grievance Procedure. 

To ensure continued positive momentum, the committees agreed to an additional 30 days of negotiations to augment the established 2025-26 schedule of dates. 

The next bargaining session is scheduled for January 6, 7, and 8, 2026, in Regina.
