HSAS Bargaining Update - July 21, 2014

21-Jul-2014

Negotiations between SAHO and HSAS stalled after two days of bargaining on June 26 and 27, 2014. This led to the provincially appointed mediator declaring an impasse on July 8th, which began a 14 day cooling off period in compliance with The Saskatchewan Employment Act. Any time after July 23, HSAS would be in a position to withdraw service, as long as they have provided a 48 hour notice.

HSAS has since approached SAHO to resume bargaining on Tuesday, July 22 and Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in Saskatoon. The SAHO bargaining committee will meet with HSAS representatives and will then report further developments.
