Provider Unions Bargaining Update - May 30, 31, June 1

Provider Unions Bargaining Update for May 30, 31, June 1, 2017 Three days of bargaining were held with CUPE, SEIU-West and SGEU on May 30, 31 and June 1, 2017 in Regina. The Unions have been firm on pursuing bargaining at individual tables prior to commencing monetary negotiations at a common table. There is the expectation that bargaining will progress by the end of June. Failure to bargain at a common table from the outset will have the effect of slowing the pace of bargaining. General discussions continue with the next scheduled bargaining dates being June 13 and 14, 2017 in Saskatoon. An update will be provided after each bargaining session.
