Provider Unions Bargaining Update for May 25, 2017
A one-day meeting was held with CUPE, SEIU-West and SGEU on May 3, 2017. Several logistical items were discussed, but no proposals were exchanged.
On May 25, 2017, SAHO and the unions exchanged proposals and ground rules for proceeding were established. There were conversations around respectful communications, and SAHO is reliant upon employers to enforce that communications within the workplace pertaining to bargaining should also remain respectful.
The next scheduled dates to meet are:
May 30, 31 and June 1, 2017
June 13, 14, 2017
Updates will be provided after each bargaining session.
